The SK Energy Institute of Technology, together
with the Energy R&D Center and Chemicals R&D
Center, seeks to strengthen the competitive edge
of the company’s base operations and identify
areas for potential growth.

The Institute also works with the Information &
Electronic Materials R&D Center, which develops
and secures new strategic growth technologies,
the Catalyst & Process R&D Center, which is a
recognized Center of Excellence, and Battery Business
Unit, which incubates battery technology for HEV market.

Supported by these four research centers, the Institute of Technology skillfully charts out the company’s technology development strategy while simultaneously conducting R&D.
